A replacement for Google Play Music
Google Play Music closed at the end of 2020. Uploaded libraries were transferred to YouTube Music, which still accepts uploads.
This page is for people looking to host their own library somewhere other than YouTube.
Free account: 50 MB of storage.
What the service offered
Alongside its catalogue, Google Play Music let you upload your own library and play it from any device.
Stream My Music does that part. There is no catalogue attached to it.

Which one to choose
YouTube Music allows far more storage and costs nothing if you accept advertising. On storage and price it is the better option.
Stream My Music is worth considering if you want no advertising and no recommendation algorithm around your library, and a player limited to the files you upload.
